Who we are
ASH Roofing is a family business serving Worcestershire and the surrounding area. We're not a one-man operation, but we're not a faceless contractor either — the team that quotes the job is the team that does it, and we still answer the phone ourselves.
The roofers behind ASH have over a decade of combined trade experience across Worcestershire and the West Midlands. The company itself — ASH Constructive Roofing Ltd — was registered in August 2024 to bring that experience under one professional, accountable banner.
The idea was simple: do roofing properly, charge a fair fixed price, and never ask for money up front. That's still how we run things today.
What makes us different
We're a real, registered company
ASH Constructive Roofing Ltd is registered at Companies House (number 15883533), with a registered address in Worcester (WR1 3HF). You can verify us, look us up, see our filings. Many of the people who turn up in vans and quote roofing work in Worcestershire aren't registered — and have no real accountability. We're the opposite.
No deposits, ever
We don't ask for money before we start. Not 10%, not £500, not anything. Materials we buy. Scaffolding we book. Labour we provide. You pay when the work is finished and you're satisfied.
Written, fixed-price quotes
The quote we give you is in writing, fixed, and binding. There are no "unforeseen extras" mid-job. If we discover something during the work that genuinely changes the scope (and that's rare — we inspect properly first), we stop and discuss it with you before any extra cost is incurred.
Fully insured
We carry full public liability insurance. If something goes wrong on your property — whether through accident or workmanship — you're covered.
Written guarantee on every job
Repairs and replacements come with a written workmanship guarantee. If we did it and it fails within the guarantee period, we come back and fix it.
Where we work
Worcestershire is our home. We cover the whole county and a good slice of the surrounding area — from Worcester city centre to the Malvern Hills, from Kidderminster down to Pershore, from Bromsgrove out to Redditch. See the full list of areas we cover here.
What we believe about roofing
Roofing is one of those trades that attracts a lot of cowboys, and we've spent a lot of time fixing what they leave behind. We see the same patterns repeatedly: cheap materials installed badly, sealants used where lead work should be, repairs charged at replacement prices.
Our approach is the opposite. If a repair will outlast a replacement, we'll tell you and we'll do the repair. If like-for-like materials matter on a period property, we'll source them properly. If British Standards apply (BS 5534 for tiling and slating, for instance), we follow them.
We also believe that honest communication beats sales technique every time. We tell you what's wrong, what your options are, what each option costs, and what we'd recommend. Then you decide.
Working with us
- You call or email. We answer ourselves — no automated call centres.
- We arrange to visit. Usually within a day or two for non-urgent work; same day for emergencies.
- We inspect properly. Loft access where needed, ladder up to the roof, photos taken.
- We send a written quote within 24 hours. Fixed price, itemised, with materials and approach explained.
- You decide. No sales pressure, no follow-up calls. The quote is yours to think about.
- We book the job. Dates that suit you. We turn up when we say we will.
- The work is done. Properly, cleanly, with the site left tidy.
- You pay. When you're satisfied — not before.
"ASH did an excellent job repairing our roof. Professional throughout, advised what needed doing, finished in the timescale promised. Site left clean. Will definitely use again."
Get in touch
If you've got a roof that needs work — or you just want to know whether something is normal or worth fixing — give us a call. We're happy to give honest advice over the phone, and we'd rather have ten conversations that go nowhere than miss the one homeowner who really needed our help.
